Charlie Boy

I couldn't wait and I'm pleased with the job I did. I was doing 2011 photo's on my layouts this year as I wanted to try to keep on top of things but with such an amazing subject how could I resist. I did this layout with a picture of Charlie (you know my grand son) that his Aunty Sarah took of him. She has taken some awesome photo's and this one I love cause he's smiling.

 

 I used Kaisercraft Party Animals Collection paper for this and it's so perfect as he has a animal theme bedroom. 

I also did this layout which was not 2011 but Christmas 2010 so it was nearly 2011. The photo was take at Donna my sisters house on Christmas day 2010 and it was a setup to compare with the 1992 one on the bottom of the layout. When the kids were young they were together all the time.  Unfortunately as the years have gone they don't see each other nearly as much.

Hunting 4 Frogs

This week I have done this layout with Geoff & Georgi hunting for frogs in the dam at Andy & Cherie's last year.
It was my favorite place to be when we stayed with them. I love to just be out on the little Jetty and see natures beauty.

  

I did some hand stitching on the bottom, which brings together my love of scrapping and my love of sewing. Win win.

I hope to do a layout with Charlie, (you know the most amazing grandchild ever to be born). So stay tuned.

Big Week.

Well this week has definitely been a very big week. With the blessing of our first grandchild. We are so elated and he is so prefect.
I will be doing layouts of him, however each week I do intend to do a layout from 2011. So this week I chose Greg and Hunter. Greg & Megan bought Hunter for David & I for Christmas however we got him in November as that's when he was ready to come.
This photo is take from the day we got him in Bendigo.

I love the little Tim Holtz muse token with the G and it says Genuine, which Greg so definitely is.

Love my son's so very much and now I have a grandson to love too. Yay, Nanny & Charlie
